I planned on staying at cabañas los Almendros for one night and extended my stay for five more nights because I enjoyed it so much! It is perfect if you are seeking a calm place to relax. Surrounded by nature, I enjoyed reading in the hammock outside my room! It is still very central, just a five minute walk to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. There are some beautiful hikes to do such as aguacate and more beaches which are just a quick boatride away. The staff is very friendly and helped me patiently with everything staying patient despite my lack of Spanish skills :) I highly recommend this hostel!
